CLOSING DOWN

SORRY! I'll be away (going back home to Singapore) from Jul-Sep '07 and Oct '07-Apr '08. Hence, I wont be able to do any more swaps from now. Thanks anyway for looking at my site and pictures!

I hope u liked the stuffs i've been giving my swap partners. You have a swapping good time!

(I'll be back! Especially if you are 'really' good & can make me 'really' happy!)

Are you 'really' happy?

Sometimes, i wonder if GYS swappers are really happy with the packages they received...and how many percent of it do they really like??? I think that maybe we should be contented if we like 60% of it. Anything below 40% would mean the swap is rather "unsuccessful", and you've probably got someone else's unwanted junk...or even expired/soon-to-be-expired food. Oops...sorry to know. But i've got those too. ={

I feel "recycling" is fine, but at least do it with some integrity. It's ugly to give someone a "gift" that totally doesnt suit them at all - be it in terms of their favourite colours, style etc. Since swappers are newly-found friends, a good gauge would be perhaps to look at the stuffs they give others to determine their taste and preference. Most importantly, you've got to be FAIR. If you think that you'll receive a good package (which you probably would IF you've contacted the person for a swap), then please do the same! Make it a great swap both of you will be so pleased with - and you proud of! Otherwise, please dont bother with the postage fees at all. It's going to be their new junk now.

I like 90-100% of the things i mail out...and it makes my day knowing that they love it too! I only just wish it's just as much!

Maybe here's some of the ratings:

10% - Oops, too bad.
20% - Oops, please try again.
30% - Oops, sorry.
40% - Oops, it could have been worse.
50% - Okay, u are lucky.
60% - Good try.
70% - Good swap!
80% - Great swap!!!
90% - WOW!!!
100% - WOO...u've found an angel!

So, what's your rating for that much anticipated package you've just received???

p.s. I dont mean that i'll rate my packages (for others to see), but i believe everyone has his/her own benchmark in his/her heart...in about almost everything.
